ETIAS has been delayed again and currently has no confirmed launch date. If you are travelling to Europe on a visa-free passport, there is nothing for you to do.

It was expected in the last quarter of 2026, but the EU has pulled that date from its official site while it works through delays. A 2027 launch now looks more likely.

When it does launch there will be a transition period, and the fee is expected to be around €20. Ignore any site offering to let you apply early — the real application is not open.
